Independent procurement coordination
Rubber Vulcanizing Press Sourcing coordinates factory quotations for a rubber vulcanizing press. We do not manufacture platens, certify compounds or act as a brand-appointed reseller. This page states coordinator responsibilities so a buyer can see what we collect, what factories must restate and what remains an owner decision. No founding year, plant tour or customer count is published because those assets are not on file.
Independent sourcing partner: we align RFQ packets, circulate a consistent brief and return comparable replies. We do not sign FAT, SAT or process recipes. Certificates, if any, belong to the named supplier and the named product, not to this website.
| Decision point | Evidence or question |
|---|---|
| Coordinator responsibilities: Equipment scope | We ask the buyer for mold size, mass, cavity load, platen size target, daylight, heating method, cure temperature, dwell, venting steps, quantity and destination. We ask factories to restate those fields on the same units. We do not invent ram force when sheets mix tons and bar. |
| Price exclusions | We flag molds, vacuum, cooling, freight, installation, training, commissioning, SAT travel and spare parts when they are missing. We do not publish a percentage saving. Machine price and installed project cost stay on separate lines until a factory writes a combined total. |
| Response basis | We treat a reply as comparable only when platen uniformity, pressure holding with the actual mold, and included documents are named. Optional budget and supplier preference (premium, mid-range, budget-friendly, or not sure) are buyer selections used to prioritize search, not verified factory ratings. |
Remaining inputs the buyer still owns: compound confidentiality, mold ownership, FAT witness travel, PLC interface maps and who writes the cure recipe. This coordinator does not replace the process engineer.
Coordinator work is limited to procurement matching. A single machine quote is not an integrated mill-to-press line unless upstream and downstream interfaces, staffing and acceptance boundaries are written. Nominal heater setpoints are not validated output. Duty cycle, changeover and spare parts belong in the brief, not in marketing adjectives. Public laboratory catalogs and production notes are reference documents dated by their publishers; they are not this service’s performance promise.
If a factory offers column, frame-plate or other access layouts, we keep those names as quote labels until a drawing confirms geometry. Jaw-type wording is forwarded as a clarification request. We do not convert that search phrase into a certified machine family. Read matching notes for the trial questions we repeat to every bidder.
